The Möbius of the Soul: A Reflection on Time, Self, and the Universe

According to the Akashic library, it seems that not only our present selves, but also past and future versions of ourselves, exist simultaneously.

Whether it's the past or the present, those timelines still exist, and sometimes actions taken in the present can even change the past in ways that seem impossible under normal circumstances.

All timelines are connected in a circular form, with the world splitting into different parts and then overlapping, influencing each other. Therefore, no matter which timeline or world line we find ourselves in, it is undeniable that we are always influencing some version of ourselves somewhere.

In terms of the structure of the universe, there is the individual’s timeline, surrounded by a donut-shaped structure. Energy and information, such as light or particles, fall towards the central hole and then return from the outer edge of the donut back upwards. This structure seems to resemble the Möbius strip discovered by the German mathematician August Möbius.

While this is not the same as the idea of reincarnation, I feel that each individual exists in multiple forms. Each of us has different places, physical characteristics, and missions to fulfill, and all of this circulates, enabling the world to function. This is the structure of the soul in the world as I personally perceive it.

As for the Buddhist concept of attaining nirvana, I believe it may refer to going beyond the loop of this cycle.

Some might think that this is too grand a scale to be personally relevant, but since the individual and the universe share the same structure, if we face our emotions and live positively—even in the face of unfairness—the world itself will continue to circulate in harmony. So, there is no need to feel pessimistic or doubt our existence. I truly believe that our present selves are an important piece of this world’s puzzle, and we should live optimistically, understanding our worth.
